Laborer
Job Description: To provide manual and physical labor to accomplish the task and objectives. Using your skills to assist the operators in accomplishing the goal of the day.
These are the Success Statements that serve as the outcomes that the Laborer is responsible for achieving and sustaining. Success Statements are reviewed regularly in weekly to biweekly one-on-one meetings between leaders and their team members to identify if the outcome is red (not true), yellow (inconsistently true), or green (consistently true).
1. I am willing and available.
2. My person, work area, and tools are clean and organized.
3. I effectively participated in meetings and briefings.
4. I performed my job to the best I could, and asked for feedback.
5. I asked questions to understand what we were doing to learn and grow.
Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the skills of:
- Chain/unchain equipment
- Load/unload equipment
- Dig holes with shovel
- Hand dig around lines with shovel
- Restore jobsite
- Seed and rake dirt and gravel
- Be gopher for tools and material
- Spot for Operators
- Hand signal Operators
- Grease Equipment
- Setup safety devices (ie. cones, signs, barricades, etc.)
- Be situationally aware to your surroundings
- Learn and understand processes and systems
